1. Agreement to these Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Life Minder, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Life Minder. These Terms supplement any terms that apply through Apple’s App Store. Mandatory consumer rights in your location continue to apply.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and supervise your use. Life Minder is not directed to children under 13.

3. What Life Minder does

Life Minder helps you record medication routines, doses, reminders, food, nutrition values, hydration, symptoms, weight, photos, vitamins, supplements, and personal routines. It may display user-entered timing, trends, and on-device summaries.

Life Minder does not verify that your medication, dose, schedule, nutrition target, symptom entry, or other information is correct or appropriate for you. Information from food and medication databases may be incomplete, delayed, mislabeled, or unavailable.

4. No medical advice or emergency service

Do not use Life Minder to make medication, dosing, treatment, or emergency decisions. Always follow instructions from your prescriber, pharmacist, and other qualified healthcare professionals. Contact them about side effects, missed doses, changes in symptoms, or questions about treatment.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or seek immediate medical help. Life Minder does not monitor entries and cannot contact emergency services for you.

5. Reminders are not guaranteed

Reminders are a convenience and may be delayed, suppressed, or not delivered because of notification permissions, Focus modes, device power state, operating-system behavior, app removal, settings, or other conditions. You are responsible for following your prescribed routine and using an appropriate backup method when a reminder is important.

6. Your data and backups

Life Minder stores tracker data locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining device security and creating JSON exports if you want a portable backup. Exported files may contain sensitive health information and photos. Store and share them carefully.

Deleting entries, using Start Fresh, uninstalling the app, losing the device, or restoring the device may permanently remove data. Downey Tech cannot recover local data or exported files that you lose.

7. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use Life Minder lawfully and for your own legitimate tracking purposes.
• Review entries and lookup results before relying on them as a record of what occurred.
• Protect access to your device and exported files.
• Not attempt to interfere with the app, website, APIs, security, or availability.
• Not reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, or exploit Life Minder except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Not use Life Minder to harm, impersonate, mislead, or unlawfully monitor another person.

8. Third-party services and information

Life Minder may interact with Apple Health, Apple Intelligence, Apple notifications and photo selection, Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central, RxNorm, DailyMed, and websites linked from the app. Third-party services are controlled by their providers and may change or become unavailable without notice.

Food values and medication labels are informational source material, not individualized medical or nutrition guidance. A link or data result does not mean Downey Tech endorses a product, manufacturer, medication, treatment, or service.

9. Purchases and subscriptions

Life Minder does not currently publish a paid plan on this placeholder website. If in-app purchases or subscriptions are introduced, the price, billing period, included features, trial terms, and renewal details will be shown before purchase. App Store purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s payment and refund terms. Downey Tech cannot directly issue refunds for purchases processed by Apple; eligible requests must be submitted through reportaproblem.apple.com.

10. Intellectual property

Life Minder, its design, software, branding, and original content are owned by Downey Tech or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, trademarks, databases, and content remain the property of their respective owners and may be subject to separate licenses.

Subject to these Terms, Downey Tech grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control as allowed by App Store rules.

11. Feedback

If you voluntarily send ideas or feedback, you allow Downey Tech to use them without restriction or payment, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Life Minder is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, availability, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that reminders, calculations, lookups, exports, imports, trends, or insights will be error-free.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Downey Tech and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from Life Minder.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, and mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Life Minder at any time. We may suspend website or support access, or discontinue features, when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, misuse prevention, or product changes. Local app data remains under your control unless you delete the app or data.

15. Changes

We may update the app and these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised date. If a material change requires consent, we will request it through an appropriate channel. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.

16. General terms

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, sale, or transfer of the product, subject to applicable law. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and Downey Tech concerning Life Minder, except for applicable Apple terms.
